Sub: Revised list of duties of AC Coach Attendants and  
                              employees of licensee for Bedroll Supply in trains  
                              under “Integrated On-board Services” managed  
                              by IRCTC.

Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 29.09.2006 
wherein the yardsticks for deployment of AC Coach Attendants and 
employees of licensee in trains where the bedroll supply has been handed 
over to IRCTC as a part of “Integrated On-board Services” have been 
communicated to the railways.

The duties of the AC Coach Attendants as contained in Board letter 
No.83/Elect-!/138/8 dated 24/25.10.1985 have been revised in the trains, 
handed over to IRCTC as a part of “ Integrated On-Board Services”.  The 
revised list of duties to be performed by AC Coach Attendants and employees 
of licensees in such trains are enclosed herewith.

The revised list of duties will come into force as soon as the 
“Integrated On-board Services” are introduced on a train by IRCTC.  It is 
reiterated that deployment of AC Coach Attendant shall be one for every two 
AC Coaches in Rajdhani and Mail/Express trains where the bedroll distribution 
is handed over to IRCTC.  
 
 4. 
This issues with the concurrence of Electrical Engineering and Tourism 
& Catering Directorates of Railway Board.
