Sub: Revision of the criteria prescribed for trains for getting covered
under OBHS scheme.
Ref: Board’s letter of even No. dated 01.10.2007.

In partial modification to letter referred above, Board haye decided with the
approval of MM & FC to revise the criteria for trains to be covered under OBHS
‘scheme. As per the new criteria, all important MaiV/Express trains excluding purely
‘overnight journey trains (running between 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs) will be covered
under OBHS scheme. Railways are advised to implement OBHS scheme in all trains
qualifying as per the revised criteria.

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of
Railways.
