PCCM/North Central Railway, Prayagraj, PCCM/North East Railway, Gorakhpur, PCCM East Central Railway, Hajipur Sub: Misuse of various Reservation Quota by using fake Fake Aadhaar Cards. ---000--- Headquarters Flying Squad (PCCM Squad) of this Railway during the course of their intensive ticket checking have detected several cases of misuse of tatkal quota and quota berths reserved for Senior Citizens and lady passengers by using fake Aadhaar IDs in Train Nos. 02670 (CPR to MAS), 02839 (GAYA to MAS) and 06510 (DNR to SBC). The said cases have been detected by scanning the QR code available in the Aadhaar Cards shown by the passengers. The modus operandi being adopted in these cases is that the unauthorized travel agents are booking the tickets in some random names using their personal User Id and sell it along with a Aadhaar Card supporting that tickets by editing the contents and also by replacing the photo in the Aadhar Card. Enquiries made with passengers reveal that on payment of Rs.500/- the travel agents are issuing the fake Aadhaar ID along with the e-tickets. So far, the squad have seized more than 50 such Aadhaar Cards and collected the requisite penalty from them by treating the cases as Transfer of Tickets. Sample copy of ticket and Aadhaar are enclosed for your perusal. It is therefore requested that intensive checks may be conducted to detect unauthorized travel agents being operated in your Zones and the results of the same may be advised to this Railway. Please do not print the ERS unless extremely necessary. This Ticket will be valid with an ID proof in original. Please carry original identity proof. If found traveling without original ID proof, passenger will be treated as without ticket and charged as per extent Railway Rules. 2.Only confirmed/Partially confirmed E-ticket is valid for travel. 3.Eully Waitlisted E-tic alid for tre it remains on a fully waitlisted e-ticket will be treated as Ticketless. 4.Nalid IDs to be presented during train journey by one of the passenger booked on an e-ticket :- Voter identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt / Public Sector Undertakings of State / Central Government , District Administrations , Municipal bodies and Panchayat Administrations which are having serial number / Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized School or College for their students / Nationalized Bank Passbook with photograph /Credit Cards issued by Banks with laminated photograpt/Unique Identification Card “Aadhaar”, m-Aadhaar, e- Aadhaar. /Passenger showing the Aadhaar/Driving Licence from the “Issued Document” section by logging into his/her DigiLocker account considered as valid proof of identity.
