Miscellaneous E-Receipts System
(MERS)

Introduction
●Miscellaneous E-Receipts System (MERS) is a system through which Zonal Railways can
digitally receive Miscellaneous Earnings from Railway Customers.
●In Phase – I, MERS is designed to receive various lease charges, way-leave charges, land
license fees, advertising, Electric prepaid meter recharge, etc.
●Money can be paid by Railway Customer through Challan at SBI (State Bank of India) branches
or through Net banking on SBI’s Payment Gateway.
