Ref: (i) Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD)'s notification no. 3& t 6/2020-DD-lll dated 04.01.2021. (ii)Board's letter no. E(NG)Il/201 7/RC-2/1 Policy dated 16.02.2018. (iii)Board's letter No. E(NG)Il/2017lRC-211 Policy daled 27 .02.20'19. (iv)Board's letter no. E(NG)l l/2024lRC -2h 3 dated 05. 1 1 .2024. Please refer to DEPwD's notification dated 04.0'1.202'l cited above circulating the list of posts suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as mandated by the RPWD Act, 2016. 2. Keeping in view that functional requirements of the common category posts of teaching/school Staff and Librarians are similar to those mentioned in the list notified vide DEPWD notification mentioned above, it has been decided to adopt the disabilities as identified by DEPwD w.r.t. above posts in schools for the corresponding categories on the Railways. The list of the Railways' posts is enclosed herewith. The provisions of Board's letter no. E(NG)1y2024/RC-2/13 dated 05.11.2024 may also be kept in view. Further the provisions as mentioned in note 6 as well as other notes under DEPwD's notification dated 04.01.2021 may also be kept in view. All the Railways / Railway Recruitment Boards are requested to take cognizance of the same in view of ongoing recruitment proc€ss.
