The OSDs/New Zones Sub: issue of Bronze Metal Pass/Card Pass to below JAG Officers with All India validity, oe As per extant instructions, Bronze Metal pass/Card pass with all India validity to below JAG Officers/staff aré not to be issued by Railway Administration. in case of exigency only Card Pass for journey between the stations and for the period mentioned in such Card Pass is to be issued. it has, however, come to the notice of Board that certain ‘Railways and Production: Units are issuing card Dass with All India validity to below JAG with the approval _ Of concerned HODs, 2. The entire issue in this connection has been reviewed by Board and jt has been decided that Card Passes with All India validity may be issusd to below JAG officers in the entitled Class, with the personal approval of Genera! Manager. The power may be exercised very rarely and judiciously on merit of each case and should net be delegated further, 3. In view of the above position, Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986 (2™ Edition 1993) may be amended as per Advance Correction Slip No. 34 enclosed. - 4, This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. , की ः 5, Please acknowledge receipt, <p? _ SA Yo हक N. (Duty Pass) on page 7 of Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986, (2 Edition, 1993). Nete Notwithstanding the above provisions, Card Passes with All India validity, may _ be issued to below JAG officers/staff with the personal approval of General Manager, on merit of each case.
