Sub: Inter-Railway transfers of

-Group'R' officers on request.

In terms of extant rules, inter-Railway transfers

of Group'B' Officers can be considered on their acceptance of bottom seniority as envisaged in the Board's letter No.

(O)ILI-77AE/123 dated 93.12.1977. The transfer, therefore, depends upon three things. namely, recuest of lhe employee, ceclaration of bottom seniority and censent of the. Railway ‘to which tho trinsfer is beincsought.)

2. It is noticed that the Railways simply forward requests for transfer frem Group'2' Officers to Railway Board without obtaining declarz‘ier of seniority ana ascertaining the consent of the hailwe. te which transfer is being sought.
