Homoeopathic/AYlJrvedic Dispensaries under Staff Benefit Fund

- Enhancement of honorarium of Physicians.

1.

This has reference to Ministry of Railways' letter of even number, dated 08-12-2005 on the subject.

2.

The matter regarding Emhancement of the honorarium payable to the Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic practitioners by Staff Benefit Fund Committees and allocation of funds therefor has. been further considered.

It has been decided to make additional funds available to the SBF Committees who may revise monthly honorarium of the Homoeopathic I Ayurvedic practitioners engaged by them, as under:

(a) Physicians engaged to work for around eight hours a day (b) Physicians engaged to work for around four hours a day

The procedure regardin!g allocation of necessary additional funds for the purpose would be the same as in para-3 of the Board's letter dated 08-12-2005.

5.

In case of the Zonal Railways, expenditure on this account is chargeable to Demand No.11 (Staff Welfarle & Amenities) Minor head "Medical Services" (Control and superindence at Headquarters and Divisions).

In case of Production Units, etc., the expenditure vvould be chargeable to corresponding heads of account.
