FOIS has made relevant changes in IREPS as per the SOP guidelines for new application/appeal as well as for all pending application/appeals for waiver of Demurrage/Wharfage.
Zonal Railways are advised that all requisite measures should be taken for prompt clearance of waiver application/appeals of Demurrage/Wharfage by the end of 31't March, 2026.
Zor:m;l Railways are also requested to analyze the causes of high accrual of Demurrage/Wharfage at Goods Sheds & sidings and take remedial steps including provision of infrastructural facilities to reduce the detention to rolling stock.
