Sub. Grant of Scholarship for technical education under Staff Benefit Fund Inclusion of new degree courses in the scheme of scholarships for technical education under the Staff Benefit Fund has been under consideration. After careful consideration of the matter keeping in view the constantly evolving academic scenario, Ministry of Railways have decided to empower central Staff Benefit Committees on Railways etc. with regard to inclusion of degree courses in the already approved courses for the purpose of grant of scholarship in terms of the conditions/priorities laid down vide Board's letter No. E(W)85/FU/1-4 dated 19-11- 1985 (enclosed) and other instructions issued from time to time and subject to recognition of the course by the recognized universities/State Govts.
