In order to bring IR freight business closer to the customer, FBD portal is an innovative digital platform adding to ease of doing business. User Guidelines for GCT Page 3 Centre for Railway Information Systems USER REGISTRATION PROCESS In order to use the GCT Application of Indian Railways, firstly, an individual needs to be registered as a User in this module. User Registration process is a two-stage process: 1. Pre-registration by filing the details on the Website. 2. Activate the pre-registration details by using the Activation link from the e-Mail and providing the OTP received on the registered mobile. Steps to follow for the registration process: Make sure that Internet is running and open the following website in the web browser of your computer system https://indianrailways.gov.in -> FREIGHT SERVICES -> Freight Business 1. On home page of FBD Portal, click on PARTNER WITH US menu on the top and click on Join Our Network submenu 2. At the middle of page OWN YOUR TERMINAL, click Apply for GCT button. Alternatively, User can also access the GCT Application by clicking on Apply for Gati-Shakti Cargo Terminal (GCT) on the home page of FBD Portal. User Guidelines for GCT Page 4 Centre for Railway Information Systems 3. Following web page opens in the new browser window 4. For new user, click on the link Sign Up. 5. Enter the details required and then click Submit button below ✓ Make sure to provide the correct email id and mobile number ✓ All fields are mandatory User Guidelines for GCT Page 5 Centre for Railway Information Systems After clicking on submit button, system shall validate the entries ✓ Prompt will be given in case of missing or incorrect data ✓ After validation, system will save the record for verification ✓ User will receive an acknowledgement on the registered email id and on the mobile number provided by him ✓ User will receive an email from: notification.irbdportal@cris.org.in with an activation link 6. Clicking this activation link, will take the user to the screen shown below: 7. Enter the OTP that is received on User’s phone number and click on activate account 8. In case OTP is not received, User can regenerate the OTP by pressing the ‘Re-Generate OTP’ button on the screen 9. After successful submission, User will be able to login in GCT Module using his credentials. User Guidelines for GCT Page 6 Centre for Railway Information Systems GCT APPLICATION PROCESS As the user log-in in GCT module, the new GCT application screen will appear. Steps for new application: GCT application is a three-step process. In first step, user needs to mention the location and personal details along with the required documents. In second step, user will upload concept plan and provide commodity wise annual traffic projection. In third step, user can preview all the details provided so far and proceed for the payment of Application fee. At every stage, user has the option to save the application as a draft which can be resumed later from the point user has left earlier. Such applications can be resumed from DRAFTS tab. 1.
