Sub: Permission for booking and carriage of Personal Computer inside the compartment.

The proposal for grant of permission for booking and carriage of a Personal Computer ( Desk top/Table top computer ) along with the passenger inside passenger compartment has been examined in Board`s office. It has been decided that a passenger may book and carry a Personal Computer ( Desk top/Table top computer ) with peripherals along with him inside the compartment subject to following terms and conditions:-

1.

No free allowances as applicable to booking of for luggage will be granted on booking and carriage of desk top/table top computer.

2.

The monitor and CPU may be carried separately, and the keyboard and UPS should be carried inside the suitcase of a passenger.

3.

A Portable TV set will not be permitted to be carried along with a PC.

4.

No claim for loss/damage will be preferred.

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
