Sub: Revision of provisions regarding booking of dogs in dog boxes.

***** In order to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of dog in dog box it has been decided to amend the existing provisions relating to the booking of dogs in dog box.

Accordingly, the following amendment to Para 1008(b) of the Indian Railway Commercial Manual (IRCM) is hereby communicated:

Dogs must be accommodated in separate dog boxes, wherever possible. When two or more dogs have necessarily to be accommodated in one dog box, they must be chained, as far apart from one another as is possible to prevent them from fighting. A large dog which cannot be accommodated in the dog box, must be booked in a special vehicle at the rates and conditions applicable to horses as laid down in the I. R. C. A.

Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned accordingly.

कुत्तों का कुत्ता-बक्सों में सुरक्षित और आरामदायक परिवहन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कुत्तों की कुत्ता-बक्सों में बुकिंग से संबंधित मौजूदा प्रावधानों में संशोधन करने का विनिश्चय किया गया है। तदनुसार, भारतीय रेल वाणिज्य नियमावली (आईआरसीएम) के पैरा 1008 (ख) में निम्नलिखित संशोधन एतद्वारा संसूचित किया जाता है:

रखा जाना चाहिए। जब एक ही कुत्ता-बक्से में दो | बक्सा बुक. और परिवहन या अधिक कुत्तों को ले जाना आवश्यक हो तो उन्हें | करने की अनुमति होगी। जब एक दूसरे से जितना दूर संभव हो सके उतनी दूर | किसी बड़े कुत्ते को कुत्ता- जंजीर से बांध ae रखना चाहिए ताकि वे आपस | बक्से में वहन करना संभव में लड़ने न पाये। जब किसी बड़े कुत्ते को कुत्ता- न. a, तो. उसे. विशेष बक्से में वहन करना संभव न हो तो उसे विशेष | वाहन, यदि कोई हो, में वाहन में बुक किया जाना चाहिए, ऐसे मामलों में | बुक किया जाना चाहिए।

भारतीय रेल सम्मेलन की कोचिंग दर सूची में घोड़ों की बुकिंग के लिए निर्धारित दरें तथा शर्ते

नागू होंगी।
