Sub: Revision of punitive charges in case of overloading of Parcel rakes carrying Mango traffic.

Ref: 1. Freight Marketing Circular No. 13 of 2019 dated 24,05.2019

2. GM/ECOR’s D.O. No.CCM/90/Mango Spl/Parcel/ dated 28.05.2019

In continuation of Freight Marketing Circular No. 13 of 2019 dated 24.05.2019, Ministry of Railways have further decided that punitive charges in case of overloading of parcel rakes carrying mango traffic shall be @ ‘R-Scale’ plus 710,000/-, uniformly for all types of Parcel rakes comprising parcel vans (VPU/VPH/VPs etc.), instead of 6 times of ‘R-Scale’ plus %10,000/-, on an experimental basis for three months.

2, There is no change in other terms and conditions.

3. These instructions shall be effective with immediate effect.

4. This issues in consultation with the Rates Directorate, and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

5. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned immediately. fA (/
