Sub: ‘Registration Fee’ for registration of indents for Parcel Vehicles (parcel traffic to be offered in full vehicle-load Parcel Vans).

1.0 Some of the zonal railways have sought guidelines regarding ‘Registration Fee’ to be deposited by the indentor at the time of registration of indents in case of full vehicle-load parcel traffic.

2.0 In this connection, it is advised that ‘Registration Fee’ to be deposited by the indentor at the time of registration of indents for full vehicle-load (Parcel Van) parcel traffic, shall be Rs. 1500/- per vehicle/ Parcel Van and Rs. 30,000/- per rake of 20 Parcel Vans. This will be applicable uniformly on all gauges.

3.0 This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of

Railways.
