1. Attention is invited to the Freight Marketing Circular No. 15 of 2016, dated

26.12.2016, wherein instructions regarding deposition of ‘Wagon Registration Fee’ at the time of registration of indents for parcel traffic were circulated.

2. In partial modification of the above mentioned Circular, it has now been decided by the Board to exempt the ‘Wagon Registration Fee’, when the indents for registration for booking of Parcel Vans (VPU) are placed by the Special Protection Group (SPG).

3. These instructions shall come into force with immediate effect.

4. This issues with concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.

5. Please acknowledge receipt.
