Sub: Haulage charges recoverable for movement of Milk traffic in Railway Milk Tankers (RMT) owned by private parties.

| Ref: Railway Board’s Freight Marketing Circulars No. 14 of 2016 dated

31.10.2016 and 25.11.2016 Ministry of Railways have decided to increase the haulage rates for movement | of Milk traffic from 01.07.2017 to 30.06.2018 as under:-

Haulage charges for loaded Rs.81 per vehicle Km (For 8 RMT wheeler Milk Tanker)

(b) Empty RMTs for change of base| Rs.40.50 per vehicle Km (For 8 or for POH wheeler Milk Tanker)

No Charges are leviable for empty movements of RMTs from unloading points to the loading points for re-loading

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned immediately.
