SUB: Automobile Freight Train Operator (AFTO) scheme. Ref: (i) FM Circular No. 06 of 2023 dated 31.03.2023 and its corrigendum letter No. 2022/TC(FM)/04/22 dated 03.04.2023 (ii) FM Circular No. 01 of 2024 dated 17.01.2024 (iii) FM Circular No, 22 of 2024 dated 05.09.2024 1. In terms of FM Circular No. 01 of 2024 dated 17.01.2024, freight rates for movement of BCACBM wagons (i) loaded in both deck with vehicle of height 1600 mm, (ii) loaded in single deck with vehicle of height >1600 mm and (iii) empty per wagon were notified. 2. Further to this, the freight rates notified vide FM Circular No.1 of 2024 were revised and notified vide FM Circular No. 22 of 2024 dated 05.09.2024. These instructions were in force till 16.01.2025 3. Now, the matter has been examined and the competent authority has decided to extend the currency of the freight rates notified vide FM Circular No.22 of 2024 for a further period of one year beyond 16.01.2025 i.e till 16.01.2026. 4. All other terms and conditions as mentioned in the Circulars under reference will remain unchanged. 5.
