Sub:- Quan tum of debit in case of loss of SPTAUUTS tickets. —
Please refer to Board's letter of even no. dated 13.6.2005 on quantum of debits in case of loss of SPTM/UTS tickets which inter-alia envisage that the maximum no- of passengers thal could be booked on a single SPIMVUTS ticket would be restricted to 4 adults in case wf [1 class (Mall/Exp, or ordinary}. 2 adults in case cf Sleeper Class and | adult in case of Lipper Class except I" AC or AC 2 Tice. In this regard. same of railways have sought clarification regarding maximum nv af children that can be booked on a single SPTM/UTS ticket. The matter has been examined and it is clarified that the maximum no, of passengers that can he booked per SPIM LTS ticker will remam same 35 stipulated in the instructions ibid. Accordingly, the instructions ibe af medified es under:

(3) In case of missing tickets for which there ध mo accountal the ded will be raised equivalent to 4 (four) Il class Mall Express full Gare for farthest destination in the system,
(b) In case of enncellation’ modification of issued ticket. where beth the orginal journey ticket and cancellation’ non-issued tickets are accounted for in the system, the debit will be raised as under. «
