(Kind Attention: Chief Personnel Officers) Sub: CPOs’ Conference – Agenda Item No.8 (Progress of works related to Staff Welfare under Plan Head 51 and 52 – Role of Personnel Department) Please call for your replies to Board’s letter of even number dated 6-8-08 on the above-mentioned subject. 2. All Zonal Railways/PUs, etc. were requested to furnish information against Item No.8 in respect of the Plan Head 51 (Staff Quarters) and 52 (Staff Amenities) separately in 10 copies each alongwith soft copy in ‘MS Excel’ format. 3. The information received from Railways is either not in the prescribed format or is incomplete. The Railways were required to furnish the information only in respect of Pink Book items whereas many Zonal Railways, etc. have included LAW/BAW items also which was not the intention. Soft copy has also not been sent alongwith the replies. 4. It is requested that 10 copies of complete information in the prescribed format for Plan Heads 51 and 52 separately in respect of Pink Book Items only may be furnished immediately through special messenger. Soft copy in ‘MS Excel’ should also be e-mailed at www.ddew3@rb.railnet.gov.in and posted on your Railway’s website prominently with the title ‘CPOs’ Conference’.
