iii. Rates Circular no. 01 of 2018 dated 09.01.2018.

iv. Corrigendum no.62 to Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0 dated

29.12.2025.

v. Rates Circular no.05 of 2026 dated 25.03.2026 and its Corrigendum dated 16.04.2026.

vi. Rates Circular no.06 of 2026 dated 25.03.2026.

vii. Rates Circular no. 08 of 2026 dated 30.04.2026.

1.0. The sanction of Competent Authority is hereby accorded for notification of Lean Season for Financial Year 2026-2027 during which Busy Season Charge (BSC) on goods traffic shall not be levied as per the following:

All commodities transported in Open wagons except:

a. Main Commodity Head ‘Iron Ore’

b. ‘Limestone’ and ‘Dolomite’- (all types) under Group

14.2(CVIRCA Goods Tariff no.49Pt.I (४०.11), Main Commodity Head —‘Iron or Steel’

All commodities having classification below Class-100 under IRCA Goods Tariff No.49, when transported in any wagon type (including Covered wagon, Open wagon etc.)

4 | All commodities transported in stocks/wagons other than NIL Open wagons and Covered Wagons (BCN group) Container Traffic

(BSC is charged as per extant circular)

Coal & Coke Traffic 7 | Bulk cement (cement in loose form) in Tank Containers

| 8 | Salt Traffic

19 | Automobile traffic MGR Traffic

1.1. The instructions notified vide Corrigendum 10 to above referred Rates Master Circular regarding Levy of BSC on Bamboo Traffic will continue to be applicable unchanged.

These traffic are exempted from levy of BSC as per the extant circulars.

2.0. All other terms and conditions stipulated in Board’s letter under reference will remain unchanged.

3.0 Zonal Railways are requested to give wide publicity to these instructions and interact with industries and prospective customers to boost loading.

4.0 This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation and with the concurrence of Finance

Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
