Sub: Exemption of Busy Season Charge in Covered Wagons-Bamboo traffic NFR.

Ref: Board’s Rates Master Circular /Dynamic Pricing Policy/2015/0 dated 20.07.2015 and its Corrigendum no.09 dated 31.07.2025.

1.0 In terms of above referred Corrigendum no.09 dated 31.07.2025, exemption from levy of Busy Season Charge (BSC) on all Bamboo traffic originating from North East Frontier Railway was granted upto 31.03.2026.

2.0 The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided by the Competent Authority to reintroduce the same for an another period of one year w.e.f. 01.05.2026 upto

30.04.2027.

3.0 All other terms and conditions shall remain the same.

4.0 This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation and with the concurrence of

Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
