Sub:- Review of selling price of ‘Rail Neer’ packaged drinking water on Indian Railways. . ं Ref: IRCTC’s letter No. IRCTC/RN/RB/-Ref/2007 dated 17.04.2008 Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Railway Board, have decided as under:- . ः 1. The maximum retail price of ‘Rail Neer’ may be revised from Rs. ~-10/- to Rs. 12/- per bottle of one litre capacity. 2. The maximum retail price of packaged drinking water of other brands sold in railway premises/trains may be increased from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 12/- per bottle of one litre capacity. 3. IRCTC will fix the transfer price of ‘Rail Neer’ for supply. -to departmental /licensee operated units. IRCTC is also advised to ensure improvement in the capping of ‘Rail & bottles to prevent re-cycling of ‘Rail Neer’ bottles. _ .
