Sub: Verification of LTC Travel detail- charging of fee by Railways.

Please refer to Board’s instructions of even number dated 10.01.2007
(Commercial Circular No. 06 of 2007) on the subject quoted above. Northern
Railway has desired to know guidelines for charging of verification fee for
verifying the travel/transaction details of tickets issued by UTS.
The matter has been examined and it has been decided that a uniform
fee of Rs. 750/-per verification which is being charged by Zonal Railways for
verification of LTC travel details for PRS tickets should also be charged for
verification of UTS tickets.
Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned and receipt of
this letter be acknowledged.
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of
Railways.
