Supply of newspapers to the passengers of Rajdhiani/Shatalidi Exptess trains free of cost

in both morning and evening was introduced in the year 1995. Over the years instructions were

. os wae Zonal Railway wiil decide the type of newspaper of different languages to be supplied
| in these trains as per the passengers’ demand. While selecting newspapers, it should be |
kept in mind that wide ranges of reputed daily newspapers having good circulation are

2.2. Only daily newspapers will bc supplicd. This docs not include weekly or monthly
Newspapers/magazine. ,

2.3. To promote “usc “of “Hiidi “and! regional languages, newspapers in Hindi/English
languages. shotild be supplied--in the ration of/°$0:50 in Hindi speaking areas and
newspapers of Hindi/English ‘Regional language in equal proportion in other than Hindi
speaking areas. Railway may also decide.to supply newspapers for meeting the regional

number of passengers supplied with the name, of the newspapers, and the printed price so
that the actual amount of bill can be verified for reimbursement. Licences will submit ‘
this cerlificaie of TS along with bills
