These services are managed by IRCTC by deploying personnel including IRCTC staff, employees of contractor/licensee, railway employees on deemed deputation, persons engaged on contract by IRCTC etc. IRCTC has requested for issuing of travel authority to the personnel deployed by them for managing the various on board services. The matter has been examined in Board's Office and it has been decided that the personnel deployed for catering and other on board services who are employees of IRCTC's lice.nseeor railway employees on deemed deputation to IRCTC shall continue .. to be issued travel authority by Zonal HeadquarterslDivisions as at present. IRCTC will ~s!:l_e..Jr~y~l- a~th~ity- t~ it,s,own staff and ersons ~ed on contract bYthem .fox managing th~Qn board ~ervices. IR TC will also take into consideration the various yardsticks issued from time to time for manning these services.
