Reservation on Internet through IRCTC accommodation is simultaneously opened for Internet Booking as well as PRS booking

New Delhi, date 21.08.2006 The Chief Commercial Manager, All Zonal Railways Managing Director, IRCTC, Managing Director, cms (Commercial Circular No. 71 of 2006 ) Sub: Reservation on Internet through IRCTC. Please refer to C&IS directorate's letter No.2000/C&IS/PRS dated 10.3.2005 on the subject quoted above. The matter of revising the timings for Internet booking, to allow more time for database activities, has been under consideration. Accordingly it has been decided that working hours for Internet booking timings circulated vide above letter may be revised as under:- ';/ : CRIS should, however, ensure that on the opening day of booking of any train, the accommodation is simultaneously opened for Internet Booking as well as PRS booking on general counter i.e.at 0800 hrs. The facility will be given w.e.f. 1.09.2006. . Wide publicity should be given for information of general public by IRCTC. O.~~;l Copy to: .
