Sub: Mininnam licence fee for Refreshment Rooms, Staiis and Trolleys at "पा", “E”
“F™ category Stations

Ref; Board's letter of even number dated 09.12.2005 (Commercial Circular No, 51 of |
2005) |

Is supersession of Board’s earlier instructions on the above subject contained in its
letter’ under ‘Yeference, it has now been decided to delegate the authority of fixation of
minimum licence fee for Refreshment Rooms, Stails and Trolleys at “D”, गाए" & “F° category

stations to the Divisional Railway Managers (DRM) concemed

“2. The DRMs with the concurrence of FA & CAOs should fix minimum Ecence fee for
' ‘Refreshment Roonis, Stalls and Trolleys at a station based on rational factors ike, the State
_ GDP, purchasing power, land value, type of clientele, number of passengers, location of units,
. Sales tumover etc

, “After fixation of eninimum licence fee by the DRMs for all minor static units at “D”,
“EY”. & “F* category stations, the same should be communicated to the Chief’ Coniiercial

- Manager indicatizig the details of minimum licence fee as weil as the rationale for fixing the

game. Chief Commercial Manager after compiling the information received from Divisions

will communicate the minimum licence fees so fixed to Railway Board. The minimum jicence

fee for reserved units will be at par with unreserved units at these stations
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Raiiway Board
