GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAILWAY BOARD) No.2009/T6-IV/10/PA/Adarsh Station New Delhi, dtg.12.2011 The General Managers All Zonal Railways Commercial Circular No. 68 of 2011 Sub: Relaxation in Norms of Adarsh Stations Kindly refer to Board's letter of even number dated 17.09.2009 wherein it was inter-alia stipulated that stations falling under ‘D’, '£ & 'F’ category would be provided with ‘Desirable Amenities’ as applicable for Model Stations as communicated vide Annexure - E of Board's letter no.94/LMB/175 dated 15.2.2007. The matter has been reviewed and it has now been decided with the ‘approval of President that the following items in the list of Desirable Amenities may be treated as optional for D & E category stations for the purpose of development of station as Adarsh station: Retiring room, Book Stalls, Public Telephone Booths, and ‘Pay & Use’ Toilets ही “४ हि हा General Managers are authorized to relax or pend some of the facilities to be provided at Adarsh Stations, as mentioned above, at the recommendation of the DRMs. The position should be reviewed annually and any requirement that becomes justified may be included from amongst the 04 items listed above under GM's powers. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. Please acknowledge receipt. ex, दूजे (V. K.
