The matter has been examined and it has been decided that rechargeable coupons for mobile phones should be made available for the benefit of passengers at the STD/PCO Booths, Book Stalls or at the curio stalls etc. but aot from the catering units Zonal Railways may float open tenders for the provision of this facility at railway stations for the entire zone by inviting tenders from all the authorised mobile service providers Modsglities of finaniisation of tenders may be decided by CCMs in consultation with FAACAOs The idea should be to make available the widest range of rechargeable coupons to the passengers. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
