Part-1 (Vol. J) wherein it has been mentioned that tickets can be purchased through an
attendant or an authorised person (.) This implies that it is not necessary for a person
to be present at the station to purchase a ticket for himself, irrespective of whether the
ticket is required on full tariff rates or some concession (.) Clarified that, in view of

(ii) A new rule under rule 101 may be incorporated as under :
"in view of rule 208 of Coaching Tariff No. 25 Part-1 (Vol. |), it is not necessary for
concerned person to be present at the station for purchasing concession ticket alsa.”
