Sub: Selection of model stations for upgradation of
Passenger Amenities

Please refer to Board’s letters of even number dated 4.6.99,
5.11.99, 20.1.2000, 8.3.2000, 17.5.2006, 11.8.2000 and 27.9.2000 on
the subject indicating the names of 209 stations selected as model
stations for provision of upgraded passenger amenities.

“Ministry of Railways has now decided that Beas railway station may
be added to the existing list of 209 stations. Necessary action may
please be taken for provision of specified upgraded passenger amenities
at this station in addition to the stations on your Railway selected earlier
for the purpose as per Board’s letter of even number dated 4.6.99 and
number 99/TG-I/10/SPTMs dated 16.6.99,

This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry
of Railways. —
