Sub: Selection of stations as Adarsh Station
Please refer to Board's
letter of even number
dated
17.09.2009, 30.11.2009,
15.01.2010 and 10.12.2010 on the above mentioned subject indicating the names of 584
stations selected as Adarsh stations. The number of stations have been reduced to 579 stations
as the five stations namely Ambikakalna, Bapatala, Contai Road (BeIda), Belgharia and
Shyamnagar were repeating over the previous year.
It has now been decided with the approval of the President that 266 more railway
stations, as indicated in the enclosed list, may.be added to the existing list of 579 Adarsh
Stations. Necessary action may please be taken for provision of /3.IIlenitiesas specified vide
. Board'sletterof evennumberdated 17.09.2009.Withthis, thenumberof stationsselectedas
'Adarsh Stations' goes upto 845 (Eight hundred and forty five).
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
