Sub: Introduction of sub-quota of 33% for women in allotment
of each of the reserved category of minor catering units
and weightage to domicile holders for commercial
licenses.

In compliance with Budget Announcement made by Hon'ble MR in
Rail Budget 2016-17, in partial modification of Catering Policy 2010 dated
21/07/2010, following has been decided:-

(i) In reference to para 15 of the Catering Policy 2010, dated
21/07/2010, there shall be a provision of 33% sub quota for women
in allotment of each of the reserved category of minor catering units
at all categories of stations

(ii) In reference to para 14.2.1.3 of Catering Policy 2010, dated
21/07/2010, weightage, to the extent of 12% to 20% as prescribed
in the SBD for GMUs dated 05/07/2011, shall also-be given to
domicile holders for allotment of minor catering units at लि, E & F
category stations.

This issues with the concurrence of Finance and Legal Directorates.
