Sub: Introduction of give up scheme for Senior Citizens availing concession

in passenger fare. —

As per 8.No.38 of IRCA Coaching Tariff No. 26 Part-I (४०.0) concession is
admissible to Male Senior Citizen of the age of 60 years and above and 58 years &

2. If senior citizen passengers who want to give up concessional ticket fare amount
may do so now since Ministry of Railways have now decided to introduce give up
‘scheme. with regard to concession granted to Senior Citizen of Indian Nationality. As
' per the scheme, senior citizen can opt an option to give up the element of concessional
amount upto 50% or 100 This scheme shail be introduced for reserved tickets
including PRS counter and E-tickets

हर 3. This will be implemented with effect from 15.07.2017.

4. Other terms and conditions shall remain the same. |

5. CRIS & IRCTC may make necessary changes in the software
6. Necessary instructions shall be issued to the all concerned

7. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways
