Sub: Selection of model stations for upgradation of Passenger Amenities
Please refer to Board's letters number 99/TGIV/MO0/PA/Model Stn and
2001/TGIVO/PAIMS/Pt.D dtd 4,6,99, 5.11.99, 20.1.2000, 8.3.2000, 17.5,2000,
41.8.2000, 27.9.2000, 23.3.2001, 12.9.2001, 17.10.2001, 26.3.2002, 9.5.02,
30.12.2002, 28.1.2003, 13.2.2003, 10.9.2003, 14. 10,2003,17.40.2003 and 11.11.2003
on the above subject indicating the names of 301 stations selected as model stations
for provision of upgraded passenger amenities.
Ministry of Railways has now decided that Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj -
Terminus (old name Kelhapur Station), Baidyanathdham. Parasnath, Daltonganj,
Bokaro Steel City and Hatia railway stations may be added to the existing list of 304
stations. Necessary action may please be taken for provision of specified upgraded
passenger amenities as per the category of this station, in addition to the stations on
your railway selected earlier for the purpose, as per Board's letters number
O4/TGIVMO/PA/Model Stn. did. 4.6.99 and 94/LMB/2/175 dtd 246.2003 {Annexure-E).
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
