(Commercial Circular No. 48) Sub: RTA Rules 1980. Please refer to this Offic? letter-of even numberdated 16.6.99 on the above noted subject. In this connection, certain clarifications have been sought by Western Railway, Para-wise clarifications on the points raised are as uncer:- _ Point Raised 1. It may be clarified whether these applications refer to application for seeking reservation or for appointment as Railway Tourist Agents(RTA) case they refer to Reservation, the authorised RTA, have their own ID cards which are being honoured, no limit of ID has been laid for RTAs as in the case of RTSAs. Clarification Board’s instructions dated 16.6,99 referred to above are regarding appointment of Rail Tourist Agents and not for seeking reservations Point raised If the application, refer to the appointment of RTA of those who are _ certified members of ‘TAAI/IATO,:then it may be clarified whether Zonal appoint RTA.
