Bharat Darshan Train

Railway Board has reviewed the operation of Bharat Darshan trains and
decided to revise the Railway charging principle, Passenger tariff as well as
composition of the train, as per details given below:

The Railway charges payable by IRCTC will be on the basis of
telescopic rates escalated by 20%:;.
The pantry car charges will be 50% of normal rate;
The passenger tariff will be Rs. 800/- per passenger per day in Sleeper
Class;
In case 3AC coaches are attached, the passenger tariff will be Rs.
1100/- per passenger per day;
The composition of the train will be increased by 2 GSCN coaches
every 3 months till the composition reaches 18 coaches, irrespective of
the occupancy. 3AC coaches may also be attached. This clause will be
effective from one month after the date of issue of this instruction.
The Railway charges will be calculated on the basis of actual
composition till it reaches the composition of 18 coaches, as per
schedule mentioned at (v) above. Thereafter, the charging will be for
minimum 18 coaches; and
The Railway charges and passenger tariff will be revised every year
Starting from 1.4.2015.
2. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of
Railways (Railway Board).
