Commercial Policy Circular No. 45/2005 Sub: DEDIoymnent of Escorting staff on Raidhani/Shatabdi Express Trains Instructions were issued vide Board's letter of even number dated 13.9.99 (Commercial Circular No.29 of 1999) regarding deployment of various onboard escortung staff in different categories of Trains. The matter has been further reviewed and it has been decided that the revised norms for Rajdhani/Shatabdi Express Trains as stipulated in the Annexure be followed by all the concerned departments of the Zonal Railways. 2. Railways must ensure that staff in excess of the approved norms should immediately be withdrawn. 3. This issues in consultation with Electrical, Mechanical and Telecom Directorates of Railway Board. 4. Compliance Report in respect of Rajdhani/Shatabdi Express Trains may be sent by 30.11.2005 to Board.
