New Delhi, dated./2. 06.2013 The Chief Commerial Managers, All Zonal Railways. Commercial Cicruciar Nos 4/2013 Sub: Review Meeting of Commercial Directorate taken by Hon’ble MR and CRB on 03.06.2013. Hon'ble MR and CRB, during the review meeting of Commercial Directorate of Railway Board, have desired that Captain system in trains must be introduced. 2. It is desired that this system shall be introduced in the trains, which are being manned on leg-wise system. The Senior Most ticket checking staff (Geaductor/TTE) on- board shall wear badge, on his left arm, having the word Captain embossed on it. Besides the arm band shall also have distinguish mark/indication, which shall enabie travelling passengers to identify him as Captain. The Captain will perform duties as performed by TS in erstwhile Rajdhani Type Trains and also monitor the OBHS staff apart from other function as envisaged in the earlier IAG system. However, such duties will be as per optimal links prepared for multi-leg manning and not on end-to-end basis. 3, Please ensure compliance under intimation to this office. mats.
