(Commercial Circular No. of 2011 ) Sub: Bharat Tirth Trains Ref: Board's letter No.2010/Tourism/140/5 dated 9.9.2010 (Commercial circular No.43 of 2010) Board has further reviewed the charging principles of Bharat Tirth trains and approved the following: i) the fare will be calculated on the basis of 50% occupancy or actual occupancy, whichever is higher; and ii) maximum 4 halts will be permitted in each block of 1000 kms in the itinerary with a total duration of 40 minutes for all the 4 halts put together and such halts will not be counted for the purpose of charging point to point fare. 2. The above relaxations will be applicable for a period of 6 months from the date of operation of the first itinerary. Subsequently.
