Board’s letter No.2010/Tourism/140/5 dated 31.1.2011 (Commercial circular No.6 of 2011). 3. IRCTC’s | letter No.2010/IRCTC/Tourism/Bharat Tirth dated 18.10.2011. Board has further reviewed the charging principles of Bharat Tirth trains and approved the following concession for a period of six months from the date of issue of the letter: i) the fare will be calculated on the basis of 50% occupancy or actual occupancy, which ever is higher; and ii) maximum 4 halts will be permitted in each block of 1000 kms in the itinerary with a total duration of 40 minutes for all the 4 halts put together and such halts will not be counted for the purpose of charging point to point fare. 2.
