21.7.09 (.) Instructions were issued for booking and charging of Special Trains/ Special
Coaches vide Commercial Circular No.18 of 2009 dated 16.2.07 (.) Instruction contained
in this circular were further revised vide Commercial Circular Nos.87 & 89 of 2007 and
extended from time to time (.) The last such extension was granted up to 31.8.09 (.)
It has been decided to extend the validity of the instructions issued vide above circulars
for a further period of two months w.e.f. 01.09.09 to 31.10.09 (.) Refund, if any, due to
overcharging may be granted for the special trains/special coaches booked prior to the
date of issue of this instruction (.) This issues with the concurrence of the Finance
Directorate of the Ministry of Railways (.) Necessary instructions may be issued to all
