REF: Commerciai Circuiar No. 30 of 2019 dated 26.66.2019. In reference to above, it is informed that as per Kerala Finance Bill, 2019 passed by Legislative assembly, Kerala Flood Cess shall not be applicable on transportation of passengers. Accordingly, Ministry of Railways have now decided that the instructions regarding levy of 1% Kerala Flood Cess (KFC) on tickets booked in AC & first class for B2C intra-state taxable supply shall be treated as withdrawn. . 2. This issues in consultation with Accounts Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance (commercial) Directorate of Ministry of Railways. 3. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned.
