All Indian Railways Sub: Fare structure of Tejas Express As announced during the Railway Budget 2016-17, Ministry. of Railways have decided to run Tejas Express with fully Air conditioned AC chair car and executive class service having facilities ‘of Ergonomic -seating with improved cushioning and upholstery, Automatic doors, infotainment system with. on-board Wi-Fi, GPS based passenger _ information '.display/announcement .system, ‘Dust sealed gangways, fire and smoke detection system, CCTV system, Concealed LED lighting with adjustable reading lights - Integrated braille displays and Bio-vacuurm toilets, with sensorised taps, flushing system hand driers for touch-less experience of toilet use etc 2.0 Fare structure 2.1, Basic fare: Basic fare ef AC chair.car and Executive class of Telas Express shall be 1.20 times of the basic fare of respective classes of Shatabdi trains. The basic fare table is enclosed herewith ; Lo 2.2, Other charges liké reservation fee, superfast surcharge, catering chargesas notified by T& C directorate, service tax etc.; as applicable shall be levied separately 3.0, Bulk. booking shall be. allowed’in this train.as per the’ existing rule. applicable for Mail/Express trains no | 4.0. To start with, Tatkal quota. shall be 10% of the total accommodation for the respective Classes, Charges shall be taken. ag pet. fare indicated in-para 2 above plus applicable : classwise tatkal charges.-CCM of zonal Railways may further increase the tatkal quota maximum upto 30% of the total accommodation based on the demand pattern 5.0. Other terms and conditions (except fare structure, bulk booking rule and tatkal rule as indicated in paras 2. 10 4 above respectively), shall be same as applicable for Shatabdi . trains 2/- 6:0.-CRIS is.requested to make necessary-changes in the software 7.0.
