_ Sub: Authorisation of Rail Travellers’ Service Agents (Amendment)
Rule, 1999

Please refer to this office letter of even number dated 27.9.99
(Commercial Circular Ne. 35 of 1999) on the subject quoted above
wherein it has been advised that the revised licence fee, security
deposit and bank guarentee as advised vide Gazette notification No
5.0.245(E), dated 12.4.99 ‘shall be applicable in respect of licence
issued or renewed on or after 12.4.99. I+ was also advised that for the
‘past period the position will be reviewed and position intimated in due
course

The matter has been reviewed in Ministry of Railways in
consultation with the Legal Adviser of Ministry of Railways and it is
advised that revised licence fee! security deposit and bank guarantee
shall be applicable in respect of licences issued or renewed on or after
12.4.1999. For the past period these charges will not be realised
