(Commercial Circular No. 29 of 2019) Sub: Charging principle of refurbished rakes to be purchased by IRCTC for operation of Budgeted tourist trains. IRCTC had proposed to purchase two refurbished ICF rakes from CRWS/BPL for operation of Budgeted tourist trains. The approval of Board (MT, MRS) for sale of two ICF rakes to IRCTC had already been communicated to the concerned zonal railway/departments/IRCTC vide Board's letter No.2004/M(C)/140/7 pt VI dated 14.05.2019. Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) have decided to operate these refurbished rakes on following charging principle: 2. i) Railway shall charge "Haulage Charge' from IRCTC for operation of these rakes as in the case of Luxury tourist trains. narge shal consist of three charges viz. (a) Fixed haulage ii) The haulage charge, (b) Per day variable charge and (c) Per Kilometer variable charge. ii) At present, 50% discount in haulage charge is being given for running of Luxury tourist trains. The same will also be applicable in these refurbished rakes till further orders. iv) The modalities regarding haulage charges principle shall be same as those issued vide Commercial Circular No.20 of 2015 dated 30.03.2015 and further amendments, if any, issued from time to time. 3 The charging principle shall be reviewed after a period of stable operations in due course.
