TCII/2055/93/Policy (.)  As per S.No. 3 (1) & (3)  of Annexure to Rule No. 101 of IRCA 
Coaching Tariff No. 25 Part-I (Vol. II), Amateur artistes (theatrical, concert, musical, 
dancing and magician troups & Students-artistes of the National School of Drama, New 
Delhi when traveling alone or in group)` are eligible for 50% concession in First Class and 
75% concession in Second and Sleeper classes basic Mail/Express fares (.)  As 
announced by Hon’ble MR on 9.7.2009 in the Budget discussion for 2009-10 In Lok 
Sabha, .Ministry of Railways have decided that (i)  50% concession in the basic fares 
of Mail/ Express trains will also be admissible in AC Chair Car, AC 3-tier and AC 2-
tier classes and  (ii)  50% concession will also be granted in the all-inclusive fares of 
Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi trains in AC Chair Car, AC 3-tier and AC 2-tier 
classes  (.) This concession will be admissible on tickets purchased on or after 
15.8.2009 (.) In cases of tickets already issued for travel on & after 15.8.2009, refund of 
difference of fares will not be admissible (.) This concession will not be admissible in Garib 
Rath trains (.) There is no change in other terms and condition (.) This issues with the 
concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways (.)  Wide publicity 
through various media may be given at regular intervals (.)  Necessary instructions may be 
issued to all concerned immediately and implementation ensured (.)  Matter most urgent (.)
