The General Managers, All indian Railways. | (COMMERCIAL CIRCULAR NO. 24 of 2014) sub: Charging principles of Tourist trains announced in the Railway Budget 2014-15 a - A number of tourist trains on different tourist circuits have been announced in the Raliway Budget 2014-15. This tourist trains will be operated by IRCTC 2. The composition of these trains will be 13 coaches comprising 7 Sleeper — Class coaches, 2 Three Tier AC coaches, 1 Two Tier AC coach, 1 Pantry Car — and 2 power Car / SLRs, initially. This will be gradually increased to 15 coaches by 1.4.2015 and to 18 coaches by 1.4.2016, subject to market demand and | . availability of coaches and the type of coaches will be as per demand 3 The charging principles for these trains till 30.9.2015 will be as under: 1) Point to point Mail / Express fare for each leg of the journey on full Capacity Oe | ii) 50% charges for pantry car; and a II1) No other Charges shall be levied. . 4. The charging principles for these trains from 41.10.2015 onwards will be as © under: ं yo Point to point Mail / Express fare, escalated by 11%, for each leg of’ tne journey on full capacity -- Hl) 100% charges for paniry car; and Ath) No other charges shall be levied - 5. In order to comply with the Budget Pronouncement to introduce tourist trains offering package tours on different circuits, as an introductory offer, the competent authority has agreed to fix the maximum per person per day Cont'd ceeees 2.
