Sub:- Charges for hauiage of empty coaches on private account
Rei.:- Board’s letter No. TCiiv/222 1/74/Empty Coaches dt 6.10.1983.
Board have decided fo revise the charges for haulage of empty coaches
as under:-
i, When hauled by a scheduled train - Rs.66 per Coach per km. sublect to
aminimum of Re.6600 per Coach
for ail gauges (minimum distance
for charge 100 km).
it, When hauled by a special train - Rs.75@4 per tram per krn. subject to
ले minimum of Rs. 158400 per train for
ai gauges {minimum distance for
charge 100 km}.
if the charges at the rate of Rs. 66.00 per coach per kilometer for the
actual number of coaches hauled by a speciaf train work out higher than the
charges af rates indicated in fi} above, the former would be leviable.
Development charge @ 2% of the total charges will he levied additionaily.
These insifuctions wil be applicable for haulage of empty coaches
manufactured by iCF, ROCF & BEML Lid.
These charges will come inte force with immediate effect and will remain
valid fil further advice
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry
of Railways.
Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned immediately.
